Good news the deer are back after almost a month since The Massacre. As the light failed today two deer drifted out from the edge of the forest into our yard. I hope the predators have not been following them.

That is cool. It is nice to know the deer have returned. They must feel safe around there or it is another heard or something.
I wish I was somewhere closer to the wolves. I used to live on the East side of Washington state and could hear the coyotes yelping around at night. But coyotes are dirty, filthy creatures. One of these days I will have to get my act together and move on up to the North Cascades of Washington just so I can hear the hollow song of the wolf.
Anyways, your deer being back reminded me that the Wolves are back in Washington, just not as far south as I am, or at least not that I know of.
