Bokeh Practice at different f Stops

This series of photos sort of illustrates the differences in bokeh that accrue from various f stops.

We have various objects all at different distances from the camera.

For me the magical appearance of the bokeh only works at f1.8 and f2.2

By f4 the bokeh has lost it’s magic and by f8 things are starting to look quite realistic.

The Crows Turn
